Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal Tilburg – professional hair removal at Charisma Clinic

Tired of shaving, waxing or epilating every day? At Charisma Clinic in Tilburg, we offer professional laser hair removal for various areas of the face and body.

Laser hair removal is a method of long-lasting hair reduction. The aim of the treatment is to gradually reduce hair growth, so that after several treatments fewer hairs grow back and the remaining hairs are often finer.

How does laser hair removal work?

During the treatment, light energy is directed at the pigment (melanin) in the hair. This energy is converted into heat and reaches the hair follicle, damaging the hair structures responsible for new hair growth.

Because hairs go through different growth phases, not all hairs can be treated effectively in a single session. The laser works best on hairs that are in the active growth phase at that moment.

That is why several treatments at the right intervals are needed for an optimal result.

Which areas is laser hair removal suitable for?

At Charisma Clinic, various areas can be treated, including:

  • Upper lip and chin
  • Face and jawline
  • Neck and nape
  • Underarms
  • Arms and hands
  • Stomach and back
  • Bikini line
  • Buttocks
  • Upper and lower legs
  • Full legs
  • Chest and stomach
  • Various combinations and full-body treatments

We first assess your skin and hair growth to determine whether laser hair removal is suitable.

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments varies from person to person. Hair colour and thickness, skin type, treatment area, growth cycle and hormonal factors can all influence the result.

Because only hairs in the right growth phase can respond optimally, laser hair removal is carried out as a course of several sessions.

Even after a successful course of treatment, new or fine hairs may become visible in the future. Maintenance treatments may therefore sometimes be needed.

Before the laser treatment

Good preparation is important for a safe and effective treatment.

Shave the treatment area according to the advice you receive beforehand. Hairs must not be waxed or epilated before the treatment, because the hair follicle is needed to guide the laser energy to the right place.

It is also important to avoid sun exposure and sunbeds around the time of the treatment and to inform us about medication, skincare products and any changes in your health or skin condition.

What can you expect after the treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be temporarily red or warm. Small red bumps may appear around the hair follicles. This can be a normal, temporary reaction to the laser treatment.

The treated hairs do not disappear immediately during the treatment. In the period that follows, the treated hairs may gradually fall out.

After the treatment, you will receive advice on the right skincare and sun protection.

Personal treatment plan

Every skin and every pattern of hair growth is different. That is why, at Charisma Clinic Tilburg, we first assess your skin type, hair colour, hair thickness and treatment area.

Based on this, we draw up a personal treatment plan and determine which approach and treatment interval best suit your situation.

Our aim is a safe and controlled treatment for the long-lasting reduction of unwanted hair growth.
